Biography

I was born in Tehran, Iran and have lived in France since 2007 and today I am also administratively French. From the age of seven, every year during the spring cleaning, under the advice of my mother, I painted on all the windows of the house to practice painting with the Vitray technique.

When I was thirteen, I started painting in oils. Two years later, I discovered the charcoal and dry pastel technique during six months of artistic training with Mr. Younes Nazari, a painter well known in Iran. I continued to experiment and combine different themes and techniques with different types of designs.

For my balance of life and mind, I immediately understood that I will not be able to do only art and I can also understand rational subjects very well. This is why I studied economics in Iran and also in France until the doctorate of applied economics on energy transition and climate change.

Yet I never gave up practicing art in all these years; painting as well as traditional music, singing and drawing. I needed art for my sanity in my life. Eyes are windows to the soul, said William Shakespeare, but I also want to add “ART”.

During the first lockdown on June 2020, I decided to post my paintings on the site, social media and display them so that if I died from covid, at least people could benefit.
